Products and sourcing

Cart Culture sells a selected mix of locally sourced and imported products. Product pages state the sourcing information known to us. Locally sourced does not necessarily mean manufactured in South Africa. Please read each product’s description, dimensions, materials, warnings and included items before ordering. Product images must be read together with these details; any illustrative styling or items not included will be identified where relevant.

Prices and payment

Prices are displayed in South African rand. Kara Montgomery, trading as Cart Culture, is not currently registered for VAT and does not charge VAT. Delivery charges and the final order total will be shown before the order is submitted. Payment is processed through the payment methods displayed at checkout. An order is accepted when we send an order confirmation after successful payment, subject to stock availability and lawful verification.

Order review and errors

Before placing an order, you can review the products, quantities, delivery details and total and correct mistakes. Contact us promptly if you discover an error after submitting an order.

Availability

Product pages distinguish stock already with Cart Culture from confirmed incoming stock. Customers may order from confirmed incoming allocations where the selected option is available to order. Arrival estimates refer to stock reaching Cart Culture, not delivery to your door; dispatch follows arrival and product checks. When an item is neither in stock nor confirmed incoming, contact us about possible alternatives or restocks; availability, price and timing must be confirmed before payment. If we cannot supply an ordered item, we will notify you and provide the remedy required by law, including a refund where applicable.

Delivery

Our Shipping & Delivery page forms part of these terms. For the Halloween 2026 launch, delivery is limited to South Africa. Standard door-to-door delivery is R120. The delivery methods and eligibility shown at checkout apply.

We pack orders daily after payment has been confirmed. Same-day packing cut-offs are 16:00 Monday–Thursday, 12:00 Friday, and 10:00 on weekends and South African public holidays. All times are South African time (SAST). Orders paid after the cut-off are packed during our next working day. This schedule applies to ready stock; incoming items are packed only after they arrive and pass product checks.

We arrange courier dispatch daily through The Courier Guy collection or a PUDO drop-off, subject to service availability. Same-day packing does not guarantee same-day courier collection. Transit starts when the courier collects the parcel: eligible routes may arrive the next business day; other deliveries can take 2–3 working days or longer, depending on the route and courier schedule. These are estimates, not guarantees.

Free local delivery for ready stock takes place on Wednesdays only for eligible addresses in our existing local-delivery area, including Thornhill Estate and Lakeside Village. Orders must be placed and paid by Tuesday at 16:00 for that Wednesday. Orders paid after this cut-off are scheduled for the following Wednesday.

Returns and statutory rights

Our Returns & Refunds page forms part of these terms. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits rights that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act, Consumer Protection Act or other applicable law.

Safety and age information

Follow all product instructions, age warnings and safety information. If a product requires batteries, electricity, assembly or adult supervision, the product page will identify the information available to us. Do not use a product in a way that conflicts with its instructions or warnings.

Intellectual property

Cart Culture's original site content, branding and graphics may not be copied or commercially reused without permission. Third-party product names and trademarks belong to their respective owners.

Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use and handle personal information and how you can contact us about your privacy rights.

Complaints and disputes

Contact info@cartculture.co first so we can try to resolve the matter. These terms are governed by South African law. Nothing prevents a consumer from using a regulator, ombud, tribunal or court available under applicable law.

Changes

We may update these terms for future transactions. The version shown when an order is placed applies to that order unless the law requires otherwise.
